the price (everything included)
ordering a few?
+$8 shipping for each extra portrait in the same box. add them all at checkout. start your orderprices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). your bank converts them to US dollars when you pay, so the amount on your statement will be a little lower. some US cards add a small foreign-purchase fee.
no surprise fees at your door
US customs fees are already paid. since 2025, every parcel coming into the US goes through customs, even small ones. we prepay any duties and clearance fees when we ship, and they're included in the price above. you won't get a bill from the carrier. every parcel is also insured.
the parcel is declared honestly as an original hand-painted painting, made in Canada.
how it works
- claim a painting week and paypick the week we start painting, at least a week out, and pay in full at checkout. pick united states as your country and shipping is added automatically.
- send your pet's photo within 48 hoursa clear, well-lit photo of their face. reply to your receipt email (or dm @watabish_).
- i paint it, by handacrylic on an 8×10 inch stretched canvas. the bish supervises (judges).
- it ships about a week later, trackedwrapped in parchment, cardboard and bubble wrap. you get the tracking number by email on the day it ships.
- it arrivesusually 5 to 10 business days after shipping. customs can occasionally add a few days.
good to know
- where we ship: all 48 mainland states. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories cost more to reach, so message us first and we'll quote you.
- your address: please double-check it at checkout, including the ZIP code. if a parcel comes back because of a wrong address, re-shipping costs extra.
- arrived damaged? send a photo of the portrait and the box within 48 hours of delivery. we'll repaint it and ship it again for free, or refund you in full, your choice.
- lost in transit? we'll work it out with the carrier and repaint or refund you.
- cancelling: cancel at least 7 days before your painting week starts for a full refund.
